For this edition, Almeida & Dale presents a selection that highlights the diversity of approaches and expressions in the production of women artists in Brazil, covering a period from the 1920s to the 2000s. Featuring works by artists such as Tarsila do Amaral, Anna Maria Maiolino, Adriana Varejão, and Beatriz Milhazes, the project offers an overview of the evolution of themes and techniques intertwined with key moments in the history of art in Brazil. The curatorship goes beyond a thematic approach, emphasizing the multiplicity of languages and strategies employed by the artists, establishing dialogues with the aesthetic trends and social contexts of their times while expanding the boundaries of artistic creation.
