Last Week to Visit the Exhibition "Lygia Pape: ação-dentro" at Almeida & Dale

This is the last week to visit the exhibition "Lygia Pape: ação-dentro," curated by Ana Avelar with curatorial assistance from Laura Rago. The exhibition aims to highlight the tension between the geometry of structures and the energy of the body as a driving force in the artist's work.

According to the curator, "in Pape's understanding, her work begins to receive associations, sensations, and specific knowledge that configure semantic charges. In these proposals, the object-device drives the transformation of the individual, becoming a tool for 'inner-action'."

In addition to the works displayed in the exhibition space, the show includes a bilingual publication dedicated to presenting the works and records of the exhibition, as well as an essay by Avelar and Rago. Organized into three sections — construction, body, and senses — it presents the thematic axes that are pillars of the exhibition.
